another one?

It was a short visit to the gynae's new office at Raffles on dec 21.. It seems that Balqis's siblings will afterall NOT be a "G" Baby like the sister. The Gynae has moved to Raffles Women's Clinic.

I had almost forgotten about the check up. Kudos to the Raffles great service, they sms-ed me to remind me of the appt, 2 days, earlier..

It was a sigh of relief that hubby's off day fell on my appt day, so I can bring Balqis out to admire sunshine,cars, buildings and people with no worries of juggling with my bag,stroller and my lil dear.

We reached there just in time for the appt scheduled but as usual the wait was a while. I think he would have no time to even stop for a toilet break. one patient after another. Never changed since my visit to his clinic in Gleneagles

The check up was fine it showed that my tummy is clear(except for the non going of FATS. I'm buildng them. Ironic that Breastfeeding is not shoo-ing of it!) Kidneys are gd and he came with a serious talk

no.. it's NOT another one that i came to look for my check up. It was a follow up after my labour....

Dr: So Balqis wun be getting a second sis or bro... anytime now
Dr: so, WHEN second one?
(He sooo sounded like my other family members! )

We aren't against another one, yet. We will be glad and syukur if it comes anyway.. . If it doesn't I am also ok with it. It's just that I feel that I have still not yet nurtured enuff attention to my Lil dear Balqis. She's just 8 mths and her first 2 teeth(came out two in a row!twins teeth i call it!) just came out. we're happy to dote her for now..

OH and we found a discovery of CHEESE fries that rawks!!!u must try them at Bugs banquet from the western food stall. Fries are fillin and the topping of cheese... to the max! yummy!!

Top of that 2007 has been an up and downhill.
Every week days, Balqis spends so little time with me and her dad. So if she has another sibling, can i cope with it? Hubby scooling and working? It has been a love-hate relationship at work. Promoted but i am not sure i can cope with the workload..My work load is like a sea. sometimes stormed by too much pressure . sometimes cools a a breezy windy day. It's consuming a lot of my off-record after work hours and affecting the time spent with lil Balqis..

Hubby acceptance to School was a blessing, alhamdulillah, but i do pity him that he has to cope with work, school and also dedication as an Islam. 4 more years to endure and hopefully by then It'llbe a breeze, insyallah.

We have made up our minds on the location of the house. Hopefully the owner will not back out from selling his house in June this year. I am Super xcited!! The room we survived is taking its toll now. Balqs's Cot and hubby's study corner is smacked at 2 different corners of the living room(sorrydad!) I am so glad that Mum is not complaining. So long i keep it presentable, it'll do. But i am limited to get toys for Balqis though. No TABLES for Balqis for the moment, No horseride or mobile toys for now. Out of bound by mom.NO place to store!

I have been spending so much on the kitchen cups(mostly my collections of Starbucks cups that i realised last dec that i had to store the tumblers flasks and mugs to 4 seperate locations; store under the bed, my cupboard and the luggage bag. On top of that the wardrobe is clustered and fully utilised. I cant hang my Baju kurung now. Its been folded neatly to make space for my work clothes that i need to iron weekly so that i am not late for work, since i can't depend on a bike ride and the taxi fare wil cost 10 bucks!! up from a mere 7 plus!(i am still LATE ..so Pockets are slowly moulding with holess....

The lil Balqis can now stand on her own... She has climbed out of her feeding chair
