Only one kambing befriended me on aidil adha 2005

*yes mission accomplished,... got sis her pressie and got the pair of cuzzies a beyblade each and a controlled racing car for him.Met Smigel for dinner before getting home and rest.As usual i end up screening for my personal fetish of shopping..argh*

where are all my kambings??... "they need to walk from Australia to Darul Islah before they can be slaughtered..??" claimed a kambing.. I was so not looking forward for this day to happen. Since i was young never have i failed to see & smell the awful kambings when i prayed. But these poor kambings made me lend some soft spot for them along the years.

The wooden stable built for temporary storage at Darul Islah was bare;empty;clean... no penghunis..Saddens to see it happen here and how bad it was when i realised that these kambings are not here yet. It has been part and parcel of my journey in life. Every year without fail, i followed my parents to watch them slaughtered .. From the first batch of kambing till the last kambing. My bros will help catch the kambings with their friends and male cuzzies, the stronger ones will shed the fleece and the old, chop the body parts of the kambings to medium chunks while moms will cut them to smaller pieces for easy storage in the freezer and seperate shares to be brought home.. I remembered helping mom once and couldn't help but came home with a bad headache unable to get rid of the smell and the sight of blood that rewinded and played in my mind time and again. For two weeks long.

This year i willed to help mom again coz she's getting older and not getting stronger. The equipments were in place,prepared a week beforehand in her nice little market trolley. At the very last minute we were told that the shipment was delayed..

First time, i spent the first day at home on Aidil Adha. All of use dispersed early with no directions as to where we should head after prayers. Last time when i was young, at least we had our grandparent's house to gather. NOw i have none of them.

I caught up with sleep but even then, the time seemed to travel too monotonously. We wait in eager to hear good news and prayed that miracle would happen, the ship with the kambings will arrive this sat afternoon. But alas,news broke, we were told that we had to wait till sunday afternoon for the shipment to arrive.. The tents and stable will be brought down from Darul Islah tomorrow morning.

Dad and his friend,went to MUIS earlier this afternoo to get confirmation as to whether the kambings will arrive tomorrow morning.They were told that the shipment is most likely to arrive only late afternoon.

I once was told that to get Pahala Korban, we have to sacrifice the Kambings within three days from Aidil Adha. Too many kambings to clear.. not enough time they feared. So what is to become of the fleet of kambings that were ordered.. almost 200+ of them was to go to Darul Islah.

Such tragedy that happens and surfaced, we came to yet another news shock of no kambings for Raya korban. Mudah-mudahan it might not happen again. insyallah.
