breastfeeding blues

I am proud to breastfeed for my lil balqis but now i'm wondering whether i should just let her breast feed till 6 mths or make it two yrs... expanding means that i will endure the pains of her first teeth numbing on my nipple! ok but on the otherhand i dun foresee me having the heart to pull her away from breast feeding afterall, it's even more nutritious than SIMILAC or S-26 or any other brands available in the market.. However i want to kill AVENT for sucking and pumping my money out!!! grhhh!!!

I bought a single pump of the electric pump for myself since i thought that i might afterall need one myself.. expressing milk at work was NOOT EASY.. must Queue or even book or make sure i came in time, one room and 5-6 other mothers need to express their milk. And what a mistake of getting the single electric pump.. 45 minutes for me to extract boths sides! I sooo regret not reaching for the dual pump and now that my single electric pump is dying on me.. i so want hubby to get me the dual pump but it's gonna be raya soon! sigh..must save noney!!! i guess i have to make do changing it to a manual pump for the time being and wait till end of nov to get a great dual pump and hopefully it stays working for AT LEAST A YEAR not just 3 mths like my avent and worst of all, i was so confident it wun die on me and i THREW AWAY the WARRANTY!!The only good thing bout the pump: It managed to empty abt 8oz of milk.. which is twice the amt of the manual pump!

With fasting mth i hope my supply does not deplete. dah lah pump manual ni slow, it's flow of pumping sucks la.. not much get extracted and it makes me feel engorged.


Balqis is much smarter now dah pandai acting lah.. now she is practising muka sedih lah and makin the ummmm sound. WHen she feeds she does the 'ummmmmmmmm' all the way! ok and she has been getting a lot of 'nah rasa ni, rasa tu' from the atok and nenek and my sis!! spoil my plan of fully fed breast milk till she is 6 mths :( .. much more she's beginning munching and making the chewing moves i was left with no choice and bougt her brown rice and some juices .. sigh
Loads of my friends are popping soon. Now i am worried. I do hope breast feeeding can help family planning,.. i still want baby balqis to have younger siblings but not now lor.. hurhur
