*a new stepping stone a new enironment*

yes.. Yes i'm dead serious i quit my job. I tendered exactly a month back,22july and told my director that i need a higher paid job badly plus i cant click with the analyst at times. We have a lot of disagreements. Thus the tender. he told me to hang on and keep the letter. he simply cant accept them and told me to dispose the letter. "The market is not yet at its peak, get a job first. Nowadays it's hard to come by. If you get a job that u like, and it's much better than what u r earning, come back to me again and i'd consider you to be free to join the other company." It emotionally struck me that my boss is so understanding. He is so much of a father figure, but being me, i felt disheartened. Gladly enough i did not give up searching for a job. I sent online applications, cut out newspaper(but never even emailed them, much more to send them snail mail! buang current je aku ni..), plus dig holes from lubangs... I almost gave up after 4 interviews. By then i my thoughts were left to follow my dreams, i should just become an art teacher in june, and hang on working there, taking in the bullshitting. Alhamdulillah with Allah's help, i managed to find a job in strictly 24 hours! yes...as a CSO(IT) with singtel. Its a renewable one yr contract. apart from that i received 2 other offers: as a management support officer for NEA and a Tester for T-est Pte Ltd(where i was offered as a tester then slowly go up to snr tester and trained as technical specialist.)

Initially i was soo looking forward to join star cruise but i guess my image in tudung never convinced them with wat i really am. my personality of someone who loves outdoor was shunned. sigh~**

big headache it was but my decision was left to stay with singtel. i guess there were a lot of cons working there but i'd just have to overcome this challenge. How i wish i was morepatient with the t-est hierachical position as its so near home and a 5 day job. How i wish MSO was a perm and not a temp job. And how i wish stel was not a rotating job. i guess nothing is perfect and probably there's all the good points in every choice that was made up. Thank Allah for his guidance. so far i'ld get the testing of shift trial soon...rotating shifts!! woohhoo one day work.. next day off, next day start work again... how bout that!!!
